Money Saving Update

It's been a tight month, we've needed car tax and 2 new tyres (they were bald :-S) so we were left with very little. Luckily I had £30 of Sainsbury's vouchers from Valued Opinions and Maximiles, coupled with a £4.50 off voucher I had when I nipped in last to buy dog foor I got a £39.87 shop for £10.04! Much better!

I've also got £6.31 vouchers from Co-op for my yearly award to spend and another £10 voucher from customer services after I complained I was over-charged. Luckily I've not needed to spend that so it'll fund the food shopping for our next trip to the caravan.

Today I took my little one and we went and got library cards. She's now got 7 new bedtime stories and I borrowed some knitting books for my other passion and blog (not that I've updated in a while)

The tax credits renewal form has been sent back. Fingers crossed we still get them (it's so confusing!). I'm not spending them yet until I get confirmation in writing as I'd hate to have to repay an overpayment.

Tomorrow is £5 off a £40 shop at Aldi voucher day in the Daily Mirror so I'll be spending 50p on a newspaper for the first time in ages!

My current totals are:
Valued opinions £9.50
Paypal: £41.53
Amazon: £35.68
Copper jar: £24
Nectar: £55
(Co-op: £16.31)

That's £165 for Christmas!

More Bzzagent Testing

This time as part of Bzzagent I've been sent Yum Pink & Black Peppercorn to try. It looks very nice and tastes yummy too.

I've also been sent some air-freshener as part of a survey site to evaluate. It's a new product so that's all I can say at the minute. Not that there's much you could divulge about air-freshener anyway!!

Almost Free Pudding!

I love the start of autumn partly for the trees changing in colours but mainly because of all the free fruit.  I'm lucky that I live in ...
